Chocolate Factories In Seattle

One Christmas my family and I decided to tour chocolate factories in Seattle.  Thinking there would be only a few I believed it would be a fun afternoon activity. It turns out that the belief was naive,  it is now spring and I am still discovering more factories.  I believe the count is up to ten and still rising.  Keep checking back as more will be added.  I will accomplish this chocolateee task yet

Enjoy - we sure have.  Barbara

With a corporate world consciousness and award wining chocolate what can be a more guilt free pleasures than touring the factory and sampling their many varieties of chocolate creations they offer!

“Chocolate is not just our passion.  It is our life!  Like the ancient Mesoamericans who worshiped chocolate as the earthly yet elegant essence that was the food of the gods, we believe chocolate nourishes the body as well as the soul.”

This pretty much sums up the chocolate fervor and passion found in the two chocolatiers who create all of Rose’s chocolates.

Take a young girl’s passion for chocolate bars, a woman’s delight in fine food and a touch of perfectionism... What do you get?  The creator and founder of Fran’s Chocolates.  In 1982 Fran Bigelow created her signature chocolate almond bar called “The Gold Bar” and opened a confectionery shop in Seattle, Washington.  At that time she wanted to showcase the pure flavors of her exquisitely created chocolate treats which could only be found in European chocolate salons.
